The camera was mounted to the roof panel via a triple suction pad mount.

Derek, watching one of the other clips I was surprised to see the start taking place with armco on one side, why is that?

Not sure quite what you mean but maybe its the protected area for the startline guy between the 2 lanes. This area also protects the startline tree.

Some powerful cars can 'get away' from the driver when warming the tyres on the startline, hence the protection.

- Does make things more exciting though.
