Hello guys

Apologies if this has been asked before, but it is my first post in the TVR area.

A friend is interested in a Tuscan S and we will have a look at it on Saturday.
Can you recommend any specialists that could check the car near Surrey?

Thanks in advance for your help. thumbup

APM may not open on Saturday, better check with Andy first. Or ask Rob Ingleby and see if he is free, a highly recommended TVR inspector within the TVR community. He bases in Lincoln but travels all round the country. check out his website on www.findasportscar.co.uk

HI Niko, as menitoned try Rob Ingleby he travels throughout the country for inspections i think he charges a couple of hundred quid he's well worth it, and will give a full report on the car.

Austec would be nearest in that case.

"Who services it", might be a viable question to ask........ assuming its one of the indies then you can probably get a potted history over the phone

Yes, Austec is the obvious choice as they are so close to Gatwick.

I'd think twice before using findasportscar... Due to the no namimg & shaming rules on this forum I can say no more. PM me if you want details.

There's a map of TVR service centres here;

Plus 1

Personally I'd take it to a local dealer/indie where they can put it up on the ramps and get to all parts of the car!

Thanks again chaps thumbup

I agree that getting the car at a specialist is better (that is what I have done with Lotuses anyway and it worked) and that is what I advised my friend.
I will let you know how things go.

Thanks again
Nikos
