Bye Bye everyone!

Dear assembled PH'ers
Unfortunately I will be unable to post on PH for the next few months! I know, I know - an unforgivable sin for which I should be hung, drawn and quartered!
But wait, I do have an excuse. I leave tomorrow for Chamonix for the season and am possibly the most excited man in the world!
I just like wish you all the best for the winter - and thank you very much to Ted for making PH in the first place. Because of here I've met loads of people up in Scotland, been on several TVR days and even a full days karting last Sunday! A special mention has to go to Craig Alsop who has put up with my giggling in his passenger seat on several occasions and goading him into 'just one more lap of the round-about'!
Cheers everyone and keep em shiny side up!
Moonie
PS - there is a 24hour ice race in Chamonix in (I think) early January so will try and send in some pics to be posted up.

2001/2002 was not a good vintage for europe at all. Fortunately there is already tonnes of snow out there this year already!
For once I have got myself organised and have a job as a guide. Can't wait - counting down the hours!
Moonie
Well then you are more organised than we were! We both lost our jobs at the same time and had left the country within 2 weeks.
This was back in 1992, Chamonix is a great place and I still miss it to a degree but next time I go back I'll be in one of the nice hotels not a 5FF a night Gite.
Have a great time, you should still be able to post I hear they have electricity up there now.

You lucky bar steward! Was thinking of doing a season somewhere myself when I was made redundant but have other current priorities...
Enjoy!
Surely you could still post from the Alpes?
Oh it can be done.
I did a spot of paragliding today - I took this foto of one of the other lads while up in the glider!
