Hello am a new member and wondered if anyone had any comments that might help me decide wether to swap my Griff 500 for an earlyish Tuscan (not a straight swap obvioulsy).
How scary are running costs? what mpg? what to look out for? love the griff but have had over 2 years and fancy a change ,in an ideal world would have Griff ,Cerbera 4,5 and a Tuscan S
Any help much appreciated!

I recently went through the same exercise, pondering whether-or-not to change my griff for a tuscan s{see "griff 500 or tuscan s" post on griffith thread}. Members response and good advice from Richard Smith @ Peninsula regarding engine modifications persuaded me to keep my beast and give her some extra ooomph!!! zz...

Bloody 'ell Denimboy - exactly my predicament! Would dearly love a 4.5 Cerbera, cos they look fantastic and have a V8 rather than the sometimes maligned S6... but now I am getting seriously tempted by the sheer looks of the Tuscan.

I have no qualms with my standard G500 power wise, I mean, how fast do I need to go? It is purely a looks thing... but then again the Griff is just such a classy looking pure sports car

I have been absolutely no help whatsoever have I ?!...

shuffles off back to box...

Burriana500-All is not lost, check out"Plasticmans" profile or view "V8 in a tuscan" thread and see a Tuscan "Front" end on a griff 500. I had to do a double take. Look's cool.zz.

Is that your griff down there at the moment with the headlight conversion.... looked silver in colour, different alloys?

Thanks all for the replies, still not swung the decision either way but am drawn to the Tuscans looks and slight creature comforts angle (must be going soft) the speed angle is not really an issue as i find the Griff adequate!
