New Gaz professional - squeaking
Discussion
Hi,
I had new gaz professionals fitted to the griff about a month ago and I have noticed that the fronts start squeaking after long journeys (maybe getting heat soak ?). Tried regular spraying with WD40 but squeaking keeps coming back (perhaps I should use cheese)
Anyone else had a similar problem ?

Hi don't get that many squeakers these days, have a word with your fitter and they will sort it out with Gaz.I had new gaz professionals fitted to the griff about a month ago and I have noticed that the fronts start squeaking after long journeys (maybe getting heat soak ?). I should say that the new banded pistons do sound a bit hydraulicy (sp) fot the first couple of hundred miles and it has been known for wishbone bushes to be really noisy but an easy answer is to turn down the shocks to full soft and see if the noise stops. If the noise stops its the shocks, if it doesn't, look elsewhere.

Should I give you a shout if mine are still doing it in, say, another 100 miles then?
BTW Second track day with the new setup next week...

I went to dreadnought on Monday to get a geometry set up after 500 miles of driving only for them to tell me i had one leaking
and i heard one Squeaking too and i have new bush’s in too. Not happy so far as it is a fair old trek to dreadnought only to have to go up again. The ride home made me pull over feeling
as all the oil ran out them.
