Herts area dealers/resellers

Hi,

Can anyone tell me who the dealer for the Hertfordshire area is? Also, are there any resellers (or whatever the non-franchised people are called!) in and around Hertfordshire?

You might want to give The TVR Centre in Arkley a call. They are one of the longest established dealers in the network and very knowledgeable. 0208 440 6666

Depending on where you are in Herts, your nearest main dealer will probably be The TVR Centre, Barnet, or Castles in Essex.
Tower View race services are the nearest independent garage, but I do not think they sell cars.

It's always worth searching the internet every few days and to find what you want, don't restrict yourself to your home county when looking for an ideal car.

I bought my Chimaera, at what I consider a bargain, from an independent in Harpenden (funnily enough).
I live in London and the car that I was previously interested in was a private sale in Surrey.

If though the car I bought was for sale in say, North Wales, I would've happily gone there for a test drive.
Reading some posts on here, others have travelled further!

Good luck- there are bargains out there!

Whereabouts in Harpenden? Interested to know as I live there and never found one locally when I had my TVRs.

Hi Paul, it was Pan Auto in Grove Road, Southdown. They first specced the car to TVR for it's initial customer late '94 and have dealt with it's re-sale since. I was told that the last owner sold to move up to a Tuscan.

In effect, this was 'their' TVR but two or three mechanics there know the marque and fitted a new screen, serviced it and sorted oil sensor probs etc.

Though the car has had a couple of reg plate changes, you may have seen it over the years bimbling about Harpenden. 4ltr in Ocean Haze (metallic green).
It would be interesting if you know the car..

Hi Kenny
Yep, I know the car and the owners pretty well. The guy that had yours has now got a yellow Cerbie and the bloke that had it before him (a rather good bodyshop specialist) has got a Tuscan. I know Pan Autos - didn't realise they worked on TVRs.
