Hi all,

I'm still fairly new to this site (couple of months) and was wondering if anyone is in the Canterbury area? Wouldn't mind meeting up with TVR peoples at some point for general gassing...laters!

I'm in a village between Ashford and Canterbury, does that count?

I believe that Pies (Colin) lives over in your direction too.

I'm fairly new around here too so haven't met many people.

I guess the best thing to do would be to attend the Mid-Kent TVRCC meeting at Hollingbourne. I've yet to manage this as I always seem to be busy.

Is there anywhere I can check out the various meets that occur? It would be good to have a little local chapter of TVR owners though...

Check out the tvr groups on yahoo, which is where most of the stuff for the kent group gets posted and emailed from. Can't remeber the exact name for the group as i've beeen away for a while. They are a nice bunch of lads. Email me through my profile and i'll give you the email address of the group rep for kent.

Good luck,

Mick

There is a very active group in the Kent area. I live in Rochester, and attend both the Meet in Hollingbourne on the 3rd Wednesday evening and the Sunday meet on the 1st of each month! The newly appointed RO is Graham, and he can be contacted on graham@clarkelectric.co.uk
The North Kent and South East London contingent is also not far away, meeting in Dunton Green, and they always have at least 25/30 cars at their meets!!
If you want any more info email me from my profile.

Yes, the back page of Sprint, the TVRCC magazine.

Edited to remove the hyperlink as the details for Mid-kent appear to be wrong!

Doesn't your reputation say that there should be a knob gag now?

Okay who's up for a run out to The Tiger at Stowting one Sunday lunch.

They have the best celler of anywhere I've found locally, excellent food and it's only 5mins off Stone Street.

Well we could do what all the Nova Boys do and circumnavigate the Ashford ring road at WOT in 2nd a couple of times, just to make a day of it.

I live just down from Stone Street in Petham, so that sounds splendid...what a road that can be in the dry! Harsh but fair...

Oh Yessssss, 'The Nostrils'

Funnily enough I'll be going out that way tonight on the way to Hawkinge. I'm running my www.Canterbury-triumphs.com meeting at Denton tonight.
