TVR Car Club have a stand. There will be five RED cars (a Taimar Turbo SE, an S3, a new Tuscan, a 450 SE and my '92 Griff). The theme of the stand is

"Not every fast RED sportscar comes from Italy or Germany - TVR Car Club - British and proud of it"

The stand will be manned by members of the West Midlands Region, but please drop by and say "hello" - or even lend a hand!!

And don't forget that "The Griffith Years" author, Mike Mooney, will be on the TVRCC stand on Saturday from roughly 10.30am-3.30pm. Come along and find out about the early years of TVR.

Me and the Mrs are going up from Plymouth also, going to go to Silverstone on Saturday then across to Brum for the night, anyone fancy either a curry on Saturday night or a pint on Sunday?

Can't make it this year due an 8 month additional to the family!

The last two years my V8S has been on the stand, must admit really enjoyed the experience chatting with fellow car nuts and TVR owners.

One thing though, you're going to be rather tired on Monday from all the standing round and chatting to people, hope everything goes well for you.

I just took a look at the web site and I see tha tickets are £9 in advance and £12 on he door. There also appears to be a discount for car club memners but you need to enter a special code to see what it's about.

Anyone here know what the code for the TVRCC is?

Rich...

p.s. guess I could look on the TVRCC web site but thought I'd ask here first!

You are a bit late, but...

Discounted advance ticket deal for Car Club members for the International Classic Motor Show at the NEC on 8th & 9th November.
To buy an exclusive Car Club member's ticket, call the ticket hotline no. 0121 767 4767, and quote the special reference code (this is your TVRCC membership number). Please note that Car Club entry tickets can only be bought in advance, and will not be available on the open days of the show. This gets you £1.50 off the usual £9 advance price. Car parking is £6.

The web site code number thingy doesn't work - TVRCC were not given a code.

...and I'll be round the back, resting the new trolley jack I've just bought on the boot lid.
