Steering Rack Question

I have read that the Chimaera S/R is bespoke to TVR. By that does it mean the whole thing or just the casing and the internals from a Sierra/Granada or some other car.
Has anyone had a non PAS rack re-condiotioned and if so how much has it cost. As I had an advisory at MOT time.

This is a big and complicated subject. Call Silverstone Performance and ask for the name and tel no. of their steering rack guy - he is very knowledgeable and provides a good service.

As far as I know, all the internals were bespoke. The valve block is a very close copy of a Cortina (?I think?) valve block, but other than that, I think all the dimensions of the bits themselves made them unique to TVR.
