Just had the PNJ in for some surgery (suspension, brakes, radiator etc - sort of thing you expect on a 9-year-old car). Took it to Falcon in Middlesbrough, the only workshop I've ever visited where you wipe your feet on the way IN.

One word: Superb.

No... Two words: Go there

Excellent job carried out by people who really know their way around performance cars, and care about the job they do. Anyone looking for a good place to take Trevor, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Do you know if they do big stuff, like outrigger replacement? Or is it just mechanical work?

I had heard good things said about Falcon here on Pistonheads but they also said they were expensive about the same as what a Tvr ex main dealer charges . £75 an hour or so .
I might give them a go this time for my once a year service do you have a number handy please . Tom .

I did some work with Falcon a couple of years ago in an attempt to increase their TVR specific capability. As said above, you really do need to wipe your feet on the way into the workshop. The team are utterly professional, I can't say enough about them. It is true that they charge dealer rates but their efforts and capability justify this high hourly rate.

Well, they did a full diagnostic check and set the timing on my 400SE's engine a couple of years ago and charged me about 76 quid. Pinpointed the cause of a miss-fire too.

Damned good I'd say. yes

Re charges, Steve went way over estimated time, but only charged an extra £120. And a service there is half the price of a TVR dealer.

On the question of what they can handle, the answer is pretty much anything, not just mechanical. They have a body shop too (I've seen one of their restoration jobs and it was the mutt's nuts)

And they do full race preps... nuts

Just had my car in to Falcon Performance and saw Steve. I had full service, minor fibreglass repair and paint work done to my Cerb. I am so impressed with their prices and work that I had to come on here! The place is immaculate, they have a large team of expert mechanics, they have huge knowledge of all TVR's and all other Performance and 4x4 vehicles.

From now on all my cars are going their way and after seeing a touring car spec Cosworth they have just done I am going to get them to do a track toy for me!
