The last I heard that Russian geezer had a plan to build SP6 cars in Italy in conjunction with Pininfarina or someone like that. But that was several years ago and nothing new has appeared in the press since. Does anyone have any more info? And while you're typing could you explain what is stopping someone building some more of the old models? Can't help thinking that there are a lot of people on this site who would jump at the chance to buy a new Griff/Cerb etc.

In a nutshell. With the current bloke who owns the badge, very unlikely to see anything new appearing. If he is prepared to reliquish the badge, and after this economic poo time has passed it's theoretically possible.

Thanks for the replies. I wonder how long it will be before our Russian friend (or rather his dad) runs out of cash and decides to get rid. Hopefully sooner rather than later...

Russia has also become the first G8 country to have it's credit downgraded (to BBB which is two notches up from junk).

There's still activity in the one relevant TVR company on Companies House

David Oxley resigned from directorship as of last Monday

MENTAT CONSULTING GMBH was appointed as a secretary as of 15th of December, who have current director HANS-DETLEF NIMTZ and former director James Oxley each as 10% shareholders....

Mentat apparently have only one employee, Zoran Subasic. Who along with Nimtz and Oxley, as well as Christopher Eberhardt, owns 10% of the shares.

The other 60% is owned by Muadib Beteiligung GmbH, another seemingly random company, which is where the trail FINALLY leads back to ol' Nikolai, who is the managing director of Muadib.

Muadib however are owned entirely by the Muadib Private Foundation, which is run by J. Oxley, Michael Subarsky and Marek Christian.

All of these companies (quite possibly Shell companies) are in Viena.

Odd for NS to only have control of the company through a secretarial role....

So what can be concluded? Not a great deal other than something is still definitely going on.
