How long can you last until the urge to get the car out the garage is too much?
All this bad weather is driving me nuts, I feel need to get the car out and go for a drive, But there is way to much snow & ice about at the moment.
Not really been out at all this year yet.frown
Whats the longest you lasted???

Slid the Sag out on Wednesday and went up to the Midlands to drop it off for MOT. Wednesday night we had so much snow I won't be able to collect it until it's melted!!

Tam's been out today around all the iced up roads I could find.

Great fun kicking in the LSD gently IYKWIM.

TVRs are actually as good as any other car in snow and ice if you take it very steady.

If its too slippery on the road the alternative is to open the garage door and turn the ignition on and just listen to one of the greatest sounds in the world .. you can't say that about any other car IMHO !lick

Come on you bloody fairies, get them out of the garage and onto the road! Can't understand this mentality of only driving them when its sunny and dry...

I used to drive mine every day of the year but now it's a weekend toy and I find myself remembering how long it took to paint the chassis and how much salt there is on the roads at the moment ...

We've had our spell of winter weather here with long periods of sub-freezing weather. But the last couple of days have seen excellent conditions with temperatures above 60 degrees F so
I got the wedge out from under cover in the garage, put the top down, and have been enjoying getting out on the roads in early February, no less, thoroughly enjoying the seat time.
So, like others have said, get your TVRs out and enjoy them. It reminds me of a car commercial I saw here in the States recently with an attractive young lady driving the car and she asks:
"so....when you turn your car on....does it return the favor?" Yes, that's the feeling we should get in our TVRs so GET OUT THERE AND LET YOUR CAR TURN YOU ON!

As my Chim is my daily drive I've been out every working day this year apart from a couple of days off work and last Monday when we had 7" of snow at 8am. I took Monday off and went tobogganing with my wife and our 5 year old son.

I too was out and about scaring the natives in my Wedge. Roads nice and dry for the first time in ages, but I like to take her for a good airing at least once a week. As ever, it's the finally giving in to hunger and thirst and heading back home that's the hard part smile

Eight days and counting here - gagging to get out in it too.

Thought about it this morning but loads of ice out the back where the sun hasn't shone put me off entertaining the neighbours. Roads aren't too bad but don't like all that salt still hanging about.

Now that's just showing off.

I don't think the spring is going to be particularly dry. April is down 135% more than average rainful for that time of year.

Just thought I'd cheer everyone up rolleyes
