vehicle lift

Has anyone used one of those vehicle lifts that looks like a big motor cycle lift,lays flat on floor so you can drive over it then position four feet under chassis and lift to about one metre high?I have a large garage,but not large enough for a proper lift/ramp,and one of these seems the ideal solution to me getting too old to roll about on the concrete floor while working on my t350.I've seen some for sale on fleabay (used) and bid on a couple,but not got lucky yet.Ive also searched tinternet for new ones,but can't seem to find any,both clarke and taskmaster have stopped making them.Thanks in advance for any info.Regards,Steve.

I was looking at buying a used 2 post lift for my garage, You can pick them up very cheap and you dont have to use all of the height!
