Think yourselves lucky, they wouldn't offer me anything. I'm doomed, they've never heard of my car, it's now worthless !!

"Unfortunately we're unable to give you an instant online valuation for your car at present. The most common reason for this is if you're driving a prestige or high-powered car. Don't despair! One of our valuers will contact you before the end of the next working day to provide you with a personal, no obligation valuation once we've been able to look at the details a little more closely."
I'm looking forward to this !!

I have this great idea how to make money on the interweb, start a motor trade site offering pennies for decent cars and the general public will sell their cars to me !!

Sadly someone was there before me and it seems to work frown Bitter, who, me banghead

I believe it's a trading name of Carcraft so no doubt having tried to rob you of a car for peanuts they will then sell it to a monkey for twice the price at 29.9% APR.

They are obviously meeting a need for people who have to offload a car which they either can't sell or can't be bothered to sell. I don't see why everyone gets so upset about their business strategy. Nobody is forced to sell to them if they don't want to. They are probably only interested in mainstream cars they can move on quickly. Let's face it how much more are you likely to be offered from the so called TVR dealers and specialists at the moment?

When I was selling my car at the start of the month (2001 fiesta zetec-s)
Which I had owned for the past 2 years, spent a lot of money restoring it to mint condition (which it was)

Saw the advert on tv for we buy any car, so jumped on the net and filled out all the details.

What came back was actually quite offensive, after spending 5mins filling out the forms, the offer was ridiculous! I was offerd £300, spent a good 2 minutes laughing.

Now I have my new car (a 2001 ibiza cupra r), which I paid a fair price for, I tried it again and was offered £545. Again I laughed, so I booked an appointment, and requested a callback, just so I can laugh at them over the phone when they are serious, and so I can laugh at them when they inspect the car seriously, cant wait for Tuesday!

Seriously feel sorry for people who have been bent over, had a large rusty pole stuck somewhere, and walked off with pennies.
