I am looking to reglue a few patches of carpet trim on the t350. Some are to be glued to the interior body and some overlap the "Bison" trim and other interior trim in the footwell.

Can anyone recommend what glue to use or indeed the original glue used by TVR?

Hey there... after i put a full new set of carpets in mine last year, i tried a few glues and i personally found spray glue really messy and not very good!

I used evo stick, but not the red tube as thats rubbush, the "evo stick 528" in a green tin. Make sure you wear a mask though as it stinks!!

Strong and resists heat really well thumbup

The original glue used was a standard Pritt stick! Don't use spray carpet adhesive but do use spray contact adhesive, most economically available from your local flooring distributer (see yellow pages). The Morley one is pretty good but do be careful when spraying and keep the nozzle clean otherwise it tends to spray at random angles which are never where you want it to go!

I would use glue with a high temperature resistance. Black carpet and the sun may soften the glue.
High temperature impact adhesive from car builder solutions is just the job. Dont use spray EVO STIK. useless. IMO

Which glue can I use which wont fall off when the car gets hot? As you can probably guess, I have already used the wrong stuff!

Cheers
