Tricky one, as everyone has different opinions on this...

The chats I've had with "Non TVR" owners at work etc seems to always point to being the Cerbera being the most wanted TVR.

But personaly, if cash were no object, I'd love a Griff 500 taking up one half of my garage. I love the shape/performance, and it's rare(er) factor compared to the Chimaera.

But saying all that, I love my S3 and don't plan to part with it for quite some time.

So, it's quite a difficult one, in sheer sales figures, the most "popular" TVR has to be the Chimaera, as it's proberly the most "practical" one to live with.

Chimaera owners - don't shoot me down, I do like them!

The Chimaera is the most popular, I think, as far as sales figures go. My personal favourite is the Tuscan (new, not old) because it looks so different, depending on the angle you're viewing it from. From the back it looks like a hot rod - a fat rear, lowered and a roof chop. From the side it has long, sleek lines, reminiscent of a corvette stingray. From the front it's just a lean, mean batmobile! The interior is like something from "lost in space" too, the whole car is beautiful!

So I bought one!

Well cars sold-wise it's the Chimeara followed by the Griff, S etc.

Having had a few TVR's now and been away on the continent a few times the Cerbera and more recently the Tuscan get the most attention. For me the Griffith is the most beautiful ever but seeing it alongside the Tuscan and Tamora at the factory last week, it is looking a bit dated now. Without a doubt the Griffith will be a very desirable classic in the future.

Personally I love my Chimaera, but I think that somehow, the front is not really a match for the rear... (little detail really, plus the rear is what most people see )
The top of my list for styling is the Tuscan, IMO the best rear I'ev ever seen with a front to match. Love the Tamora's front as well.
Never been a Griff enthusiast - sorry

Bugger they're all great

Cerbera the most brutal looking thing – Tuscan your industrial designers dream – griffith front, to me nothing special. griffith back – beautiful.
Chimaera – gorgeous all round. Up to the 98 facelift only though – they ruined it after that – its gone all fat like the V12 E-Type.
Tamora – the jury is out.

All IMHO of course.

For me it's the Cerbera 4.5. If ever I see a Cerbera I have to pause and look at it. They simply don't have a bad angle and would probably even look good on 13-inch steel wheels. For me, the Cerbera is one of the classic automotive images, like the McLaren F1 or the 911. And they sound great. If it had been made by Porsche or even Audi or BMW, I don't doubt it would be lauded as one of the greats of all time, though sadly the factory seemed to lose sight of what it had and Cerbera has just struggled along for the past few years. A shame.

Funny that, I'm of the opposite opinion. Love the front of the griff, hate the back end.

Love my Chim anyway, just in case she reads this

i'll second that Griff has a beautiful nose and a so so rear

in the flesh the tamora rear end genuinely improves upon it

The Chimaera is the best selling most likely due to it’s practically and I happen to this it’s gorgeous and unlike Bo I like the post 98 model the best (although I’m still not sold on the new headlight fearing).
I also love the Cerbera and Griffith and to me the interiors of all three are fantastic and to date are unsurpassed by TVR or anyone else for that matter.

Anto, I just think personally that the 'big fat lip' on the bootlid just makes the rear end look a bit lazy, plus that angled number plate –

Compromises the lines

Don't mind the rear light though.

We'll have to agree to disagree then Bo.
To me the new rear end reminds me of Jennifer Lopez's best bits.

For me the Tuscan easily... I can see a Corvette in that design too!

The lights, interior and drive are unsurpassed for me!

I liked the car so much I've ordered one!

It's got to be a SEAC, even if it's just for the soundtrack.
Plus - if there were such a thing as a bland/boring looking TVR, the SEAC woudn't be one of them.....

It has to be the Chimaera, seeing as its the one that filled the coffers at TVR Blackpool.

My favourite doesn't actually exist because it has a Griff nose, Chimaera rear, and sounds like a 4.3 pre-cat on tick over, and a cerbie 4.5 at full chat.

In whatway do you think the Chimaera got fatter after 98? The shape is identical...
