The time has come for me to sell my Chimaera but was wondering where I should advertise it for the best chance of a sale?

Also, any hints or tips when selling would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mike.

ascender,

I'm in the market - what are the details ?

I'm finding Autotrader, E&M and Pistonheads the best.

Theres also a wanted section on p/h.

At the moment it seems hard to sell, but also hard to buy!! Out of 8 cars I've seen 2 good ones, but owners unwilling to drop the 3% to my offers !

I just sold my Chimaera through Pistonheads so would say that it's the best.
I also got enquires from my free ads at FindIt.co.uk and the TVRCC magazine.
If you're going to pay for the ad then use Top Marques.

If you're in no rush to sell then hold out for the price you want, assuming it's realistic. I was in a rush as my Tamora was early so dropped mine but still got more than my dealer was offerring.

Good luck......... Andrew

FTVRSH

Full black hide with red stitching

When I was on the market for a Cerbera my main sources were Top Marques (on-line), Pistonheads and the TVRCC monthly magazine. I did look in a few other places but Top Marques and the club magazine seemed to turn up the most interesting cars. I eventually bought a car advertised in the club magazine.

... having said that, just recently advertised my Lotus Excel on line on Pistonheads and Findit and have now sold it (very quickly) via Findit. I had several enquiries, all via Findit and was lucky as the first person to see it bought it.
