How many Tiv oweners have had the light upgrades, was it worth it.Do you think it devalues the car. What the best and worst thing about them.
Had the 3-light blended front conversion done on my Cerbera a couple of months back by Team Proactve (RIP
) Personally, I think it was worth it - even worth the extra £500 over the unblended pods (which do look a bit cheap, along with the "Type-R" conversion). Makes the car look much newer, much nicer, and much less like a 993 as far as I'm concerned. It matches the new cars, so I imagine it'll help it sell if not adding much to the value. Worst thing about the conversion - could've had Nitrons all round instead, but I'm still more than happy with the choice. Will probably have a rear conversion at some point, but I can't decide between the standard, afterburner, or a couple of custom blended ones I've seen. Would probably go for the blended option if I could find out who does it and saw examples in the flesh.
Had my Griff done with the Speed Six conversion and think it looks awesome! I realise that some traditionalists will prefer the original look, but I've had sufficient positive responses that I don't think it will be a problem when I come to sell it.
Worse part was having to wait five weeks for the TVR Bodyshop to complete the work.
