If anyone could help... I'm having difficulty finding a replacement grill (and surrounding rubbers) for my 95 Chim, and a set of the wipers (inc washing fitting).

I've had a look through clever Trevor, but can't see anything immediately...

Ta!

Leven for wipers and breakers most likely for grill/rubber but sure there are other options.

Don,

I changed to these wipers off ebay last month and they work very well, plus £20, so cheaper than Leven

Cheers Steve.

FFG, tried Douglas Valley etc for the grill... but I hadn't though about Leven. Cheers - will go and investigate.

How does the wash bit attach onto the wiper blades? Do I need to replace this each time the blades wear out, or are they portable to the next set of blades?

The jets are moulded on, you just fit the tubing (supplied in the kit), so yes it would all get replaced next time.

But as I said, only £20, so good value I reckon, new blades alone cannot be much cheaper.

Just a thought re the wipers but could you get away with just replacing the rubbers?

Don - not exactly what you specified but I found this place and got some of the newer style sprung blades a few months ago for my Chimaera

http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/index.php

They can do all different lengths with a retro fitting and they work much better than the originals - granted though they do not do the special curvature on the LH blade which I believe the Leven set will.

I have a spare grill which you are welcome to btw - could do with a lick of paint to smarten it up and like most it has a couple of larger holes in it to accommodate the number plate fixings but it's yours for nothing if you want it. let me know - I can send a pic if you want to judge better the condition. note - doesn't include the rubber surround I am afraid

Still missing the grill - can anyone lend me one to trace around to get the dimensions to make my own?

(Seems Chims have a tendancy to visit the scenery nose-on)
