Oh dear the time has come to replace my worn out '96 Chimaera metallastics!

Reasonably accessible but rather time consuming to do carefully I gather.

Anyway, can I have suggestions as to where is the place to get them from? For me that really means the least expensive at the moment!

I understand there are 4 bushes on the top and bottom front wishbones each side and 7 on the top and bottom rear wishbones each side making a total of.... twenty two? Is that right?

Is there anything else I should check/consider whilst I'm at it?

Thanks again. With everyones help on different issues on here plus my increasingly tatty bible these jobs aren't so scary and actually become enjoyable when one has achieved something!

Not sure if there is any difference between polybushes from different suppliers.

I bought a set, a month later Steve Heath started selling them quite a bit cheaper than the others.

I believe you can now also get anti roll bar bush sets. There should also be some heat shielding for those bushes near the exhaust.

Seconded... I stupidly lost one of the nylon inserts from my kit (don't ask, dark garage and big boots!) and Joo sent a replacement part from his bits box FOC. It's not just about price, it's about customer service too IMO thumbup

There are 2 more bushes on the rear wishbones, just a different size.

Some do the bushes in the rear uprights as well (3 each side), and depending on the shocks you might want to replace them.

You can also consider the ARB and diff bushes whilst you are at it?

So Jools, SHeath or Peninsula. I'll give them a call and see what they can do.

A bit confused on the total number of bushes and it's not clear to me in the bible. Ah yes, I will have to shield the exhaust from the fronts.
Diffs a pig for access so may have to leave that for now as I don't feel any problem from there.

ARB's yes forgot to mention those but self explanatory.

I've recently replaced shocks all round and they are fine.

Wishbones and uprights... how many bushes in total should I have for these? Opinions seem to vary - won't bother you on this topic again!
Thanks

They come as a kit, you don't need to know how many bushes, just give Joo a ring. Some are different lengths and the front upper and lower ones are different (heat shield for the upper rear, flanged inner bush on the lower ones).
