If you like classic rallying or older TVRs, you need to watch The Saint ("World Beater" episode) scheduled to be on ITV4 this afternoon at 1400 hrs.

Ahhh, sixties TV. An 'Authentic Rally' - no roll cages, navigator not wearing a seatbelt (harnesses? what's a harness?) and she got her pink 'race boots' muddy as well. Simon Templar wins in the 'practice car'.

Does anyone know if the registration 1 MOK (IM OK) was real?

Excellent fun, thx for the posting. Nice Vixen and had a right laugh at Mr Moore tweaking the eyebrow irked and referring to any lady as "darling" - so was it The Saint or a James Bond programme laughlaugh

They didn't call it a TVR in the program. They called it

"The Sentinel" hehe

The very last episode of the TV series "The Saint" starring Roger Moore featured TVRs and Marcos. Listen carefully to the improbable sounds of fiberglass doors and bonnets slamming shut. It's actually not bad.
You can order it as "The Saint, Set 7 (1967)" from Amazon.com

Awesome pic. Is that a Grunter? Presumably a little early for an M and looks a bit too pointy.

It's a series 1 Vixen with a rare 'sausage-type (don't ask) bonnet.

I'm getting worried about you James...do you ever sell any cars ??? Thanks for the SPRINT mags, still reading... I found the Feb '99 issue amusing...Readers letter re-The Bonnet on the newly announced Tuscan, and owners now being allowed to remove it EASILY so don't need to go dealers to remove it.

Sheeeeet....... It's a big enough pain to remove it as it is (Always have to call round a buddy on the pretences of "Come round for a coffee", the moment they're in the door, errrrr can you halp me for a minute to take the bonnet on the TVR !!!).

The next time I call them round for a coffee, they normally say "I guess you've finished working on it and want a hand to put the bonnet back on"........

What did they originally Intent ???????

Thats a sausage bonnet. That must be a very very early production series 2 vixen to have a sausage bonnet.

Hi glow worm. Even I wouldn't employ me as a car salesman, I know I need to be more pushy. People have to buy off me, rather than me sell them a car. But it works (sort of), sold three this month so far (and watched a lot of itv4 too).
