I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking the TVR web page both sucks and blows. There is no news worth knowing on it, The data is in a tiny font and is out of date (tamoras performance), some of the models have different info layouts to the others, and the Cerbera in particular has old pictures when you can even find them. (me and TVRs webmaster)

A web site for a company like TVR should be a place where you can provide information on your side of everything (i.e. problems with the engines) and basically have us wanna owns drooling on our keyboards when we should be working. (Ted, can we have a drooling in our keyboard icon?)

Anyway. I'm done. I've got it out of my system. (for the time being). Have you volunteered our services Ted? Could be good for a discount

On a similar note, last year when I started looking at buying a Cerbera, I filled out the brochure request form on the site and duly emailed it to TVR. Did I get a response back? Put it this way, 6 months later, I've got a Cerbera but still nothing from TVR.

Trevor, do you want to sell your cars or not?

I wrote an email giving suggestions about their site and asking some questions about graphics and news.... No reply.

Before that I sent an email to Aston Martin about their site. Answered the next day.

Mmmmm...

Yes their site is sh*t. Look at Corvette site to see how it should be done!

I seem to remember someone saying that TVR actually has a Web design blokey (although I'm not sure if that was a permanent fixture or a contractor). The website seemed to improve a bit around the launch of the Tuscan, but has slowly descended back into the realms of sh*te.
Ironically, the graphics are reasonable, its the html and navigation that sucks.
Java and Html people must be 2 a penny these in the dot.gone era...

Ha! I know who does the website at TVR and yes, he is full time. The problem is that he has to do far too many bits and bobs from handbooks through magazine ads etc etc and basically he doesn't have time.

I have offered the services of my design company to a number of TVR persons, but Wheeler/Samuelson want to do it in house because it's cheap. Therein lies the root of the problem. You either pay one bloke to do far too many jobs so that they all look half-arsed and you get a bad name - for peanuts. Or you pay a proper company proper (negotiable) money to do a proper job and boost your PR rating, gaining customers, orders and cash etc...

It's their choice.
