Hi guys

Looking to do some work on the tuscan over winter, can anyone recomend me a good low entry Jack? After all the hassle my Dad went through trying to jack his griff up using wooden blocks etc I thought it would be easier to just get a Jack we could both use.

Halfords do a 2 tonne trolley jack for about 30 quid. Initially low enough to get under the front and back of my Tamora.

COSTCO are selling that very jack (Clark's 1.25T low entry) for about 75 pounds including VAT at the moment. They used to sell the Arcan (?) model but stopped.

I have the Clarke CTJ1250A. It was the only one I could find that fitted under the Sag.

Machine Mart have a VAT free day tomorrow, but you need an invitation card or know someone that has.

Costco are still selling the Arcan jack just waiting for stock but its available on ebay at a higher price. Have heard bad things about the Clarke one. Did a post on GG about low entry jacks and the Costco was well reccomended.

Of course, you could always buy some caravan levelling ramps which would do away with the requirement for a low entry jack.. wink
