This is strange

Been having a bit of trouble with one of my key fobs, so got the other one and went into the garage to try it out. Car is unlocked so pressed the fob and it worked first time. However when locked the hazzard light kept flashing, hmmmmm could be that the charger is still plugged in, unplugged the charger and locked again and the hazzards kept flashing. This has never happened before, Anyway to make a long story short, after opening and closing doors ect I turned off the florescent light and it stopped, turned it back on and the hazzards started flashing again.
No problem really but just curious why.

Sounds like the control unit or the starter on the light was interfering with the alarm frequency, not on the way out or buzzing is it?
