I've been looking to buy a new sports exhaust to spice up my T350T. So far this week I have contacted a couple of the well known manufacturers/suppliers. Not a single returned call, even when promised.

Is business so damn good at the moment that they don't really need to sell anything? If this is how they deal with someone wanting to give them money, what will it be like if there is a problem?

Who actually has good customer service, these days?

I share your frustration, I have had to ring around to get some parts for the Cerb recently and was far from impressed. I rang some businesses many times and yet never an answer on the phone! furious My advice would be to call Tim at ACT - he has always answered the phone to me.

It's not just TVR parts suppliers. I think it's a British disease. I long since gave up getting narked at suppliers who don't seem to care. And I've given up chasing people to give them money.

Get used to it, it seems. I still havn't had an answer on the door seals from a few of the well know suppliers or an answer to my clutch question to the persons who services my car.
Hey ho, if I ran my business that way I wouldn't have the money to buy the bits I want - maybe thats the answer they are trying to help me spend and work less;)

Have you tried Peninsula TVR? They always give me superb customer service. They always seem to be able to source the most difficult parts, and have always kept me well informed of progress.
Like you,i have often been really pcensoreded off with the crap customer service from some places in the past, but these guys always seem to do me proud.I have no connection with them by the way, just always happy to recommend themsmile

Me; great customer service.

I don't sell exhausts though, sorry.

Know what you mean though, a depressingly large % of companies don't seem to want your business as a consumer.

argue

The flip side being that I wouldn't give Peninsula a wet fish to look after and neither would 3 or 4 other people I know . . .

Finally ordered a JP exhaust from ACT. The only company that has bothered to return my call.
