Well, I'm going on the Saturday morning, pitching the tent and doing the parade lap before settling down to some alcohol and racing for the afternoon/evening/night/morning.

Anybody else going ?

I'll be there. No camping for me though. We're booked in the local Travel Lodge.

See you there.

Sadly the Racesport TVR is not on the provisional entry list of 56 cars. I spoke with Dennis Leech yesterday and he is still trying to fill seats in the car.

If any of you can help me raise £8-10k in sponsorship in the next 7 days I will bravely and selflessly volunteer to help get a TVR out there (and off the wall this time) wink

I think because of the weather most peeps will delay pre-booking to see whats its like on the day & pay on the door.

It's a long weekend to be exposed outdoors & camping if its wet, it's likely to be pretty miserable.

Also to consider those who attended last year have the option of a two for one offer which undercuts the club offer considerably.

Its also a shame the club lap isn't an open one, as the parade seems a tad pointless really which is a missed opportunity IMO.

I'm off to Shelsley Walsh on Sunday to watch the TVR's and this will surprise ya , I'm taking the Griff, even if it's wet !
Had enough of this crap weather.

I'm even going tax it again at the end of the month to run it through the winter. Well up until the roads are salted.

Colin.

Keep your phone handy mate. I'm travelling back on the Sunday VIA Hereford because I've got to drop the old man off. Probably mid afternoon.

If the timing is right, fancy a blat back up the A49 ?
