Orders for the Mark II Sagaris?
Discussion
Hi Guys, having received this months Sprint I was interested and pleasantly surprised to see Peninsula advetising that they were taking orders for the "new" Sagaris. I've just checked their web site and there is more info there, including the whole buying procedure, deposits, time-frame etc. The following questions spring to mind:
1.) Has anyone been brave enough to place a deposit yet?
2.) Just who is making the cars?
3.) Where are they being made?
I may have missed this information as I was away during August, but I can't / don't remember seeing any info anywhere about this. Thanks for any replies,
Garry

I believe there is a moral obligation to point out these facts so that people can make an assessment of risk. How many companies liquidate to miraculously arise with the same people.
Was it you? If not then who appointed you as the moral guardian and if it was then get over it 'cos the money 'ain't coming back.
I have been personally 'done' out of money I could little afford to lose by dubious practices but you carry on or it becomes impossible to carry on.
To illustrate the point back in the late '80s our family firm was taken for more money than your house is probably worth now as were numerous people/companies by a company that traded and bought stock on credit right up to the day before they went into liquidation and they miraculously emerged 'clean as a whistle' a few weeks later with the same millionaire directors, so don't start preaching to me about dubious practices.
So in answer to your question loads of companies arise with the same management and in much more dubious circumstances than TVR I'm afraid, TVR by comparison owed very little.

What I'm saying is that people try to make out that what happened at TVR was unique, exceptional or particularily rare. I'm pointing out that it happens daily, all over the world, and far bigger losses are involved.
Let's put things into perspective, a guy in Shropshire who's business was falling apart to the tune of millions, who no doubt owed substantial amounts of money to creditors killed his wife and daughter and then killed himself. After thinking about that the loss of a few grand on a car sort of pales into insignificance doesn't it?

No, it doesn't - his cash, his car - nothing to do with a stranger who killed his wife - ridiculous analogy.
…and your other 17k Google search figure show's you don't do it too often, most three word searches pull several million.
Please pipe down, he has a valid point - shall be re-reading your Sprint columns with further interest

Yet more pontification about his undying support of the immoral Russian and his cronies.

This self appointed, self opinionated voice of all things to do with TVR as a company, and most things to do with the TVRCC is extremely tedious. His pretence at having insider knowledge is quite sad, and the sort of behaviour most usually displayed in the school playground.
The management displayed no morals in its dying days, either to its customers nor, more importantly, its employees, yet he continues to defend and support the very individuals responsible.
Nothing can change what happened, and most of us want TVR to succeed, but his incessant defence of (IMHO) the indefensible, is just a further kick in the teeth to those who suffered at the hands of the Russians and his henchmen.
Introducing the extremely sad events in Shropshire to a discussion about losing a deposit on a car is, to me, most disturbing.
So Mr David Hothersall (V8 GRF), I suspect i am not the only one who would be grateful if you would stop and consider the victims, before you next tell us what wondeful people the management of TVR are / were.

Whenever I see his posts on anything relating to the re-launch, the factory or its demise I can't help thinking of Comical Ali,
