Order it online at scoobyparts. Very fast delivery and cheap too. Millers Octane Plus.
Searched on the site, and they have Milers Octane Boost. Is that the same stuff?TVR_owner said:

Don't you need to re-map for higher octane, or it makes zero difference?
On a RV8 TVR - or any other without mapped ignition - higher octane fuel just enables you to run more ignition advance. So you'd need to adjust the timing by hand at the distributor to see the benefit. If you had mapped ignition, yes you'd need a remap to benefit (assuming it was retarted for 95 RON already).T40ORA said:

After using the stuff for over 4 years I've learned something...Apologise for the wrong advice and thanks for the correction Leigh, I'll stop using it for cars with CATs.
The Sagaris has been retired to the corner of the garage....121 miles since September last year and Linda has banned me from using her Tamora on track so should not be a problem.Mental note...must get in touch with feminine side and start to read instructions
before use..
Is this the stuff I should keep in the boot for those occasions when I'm not able to get high octane fuel ?
Its only happened twice in 4 years - both times when I was in the dark depths of Lincolnshire - but it really does give me the willies to be driving with 'vanilla' fuel and I put in as little as I can get away with then brim it ASAP with 97/98
Its nothing to do with power that I use high octane stuff, more a paranoia of the car pinking because of the different fuel.

BTW It's criminal; 121 miles on the Sag and NOT tracking the Tamora. Tsk. You have far too many toys to play with John.
Re Octane Boster, at the moment I'm only using it as it seems to make the car run more smoothly whilst I'm waiting for the engine rebuild. It might just be psycholigical, but when I dumped some in earlier this week (left over from Spain)it just felt better.
There is no more adjustment left on one of the exhaust valves, and it was serviced before the Spanish trip. So it's done many miles, spirited driving and one track day since then and that cylinder is obviously leaking through the valve, so not really running properly on all 6 cylinders. But still driving well; people really should stop berating the Speed 6.
End of October should see me with the new lump.
