Unfortunately my Cerbera was hit from behind at a roundabout at the end of last week. I do not think the damage is too bad, but the problem I have is where to get it repaired. I live in the most easterly part of East Anglia so anywhere I go involves quite a bit of travelling. I had the bonnet resprayed at the factory just before it closed, the insurance company are quite happy for me to go back to Blackpool (300 miles away) if there is somewhere there it can be done. But they have also suggested P R Wood Motorbodies in Essex which is much nearer to me.

Has anybody got any thoughts/suggestions on where I should take it?

Thanks

Tony

i live in blackpool

and to be fair there are at least two specialist TVR body damage/repairs

and at least 3 specialist TVR service garages here

it would probably be worth the trip

IF you do go to Blackpool, make Surface and Design high on your list www.surfaceanddesign.com It comprises of ex. TVR facroty bodyshop guys including 'Gerbil' who as far as I can make out knows more about TVR paints than anyone on the planet. Top blokes with some great reputations.

P.R. Wood, who you mention, repainted the front of my car and repaired minor 'parking rashes' and stone chips - all before I bought it. It's as good as I could ever expect and since then the car has won a best detailing award (TVRCC event). There are several pics in my profile. So again, you shouldn't go far wrong with them and a lot less far to travel.

Hope this helps. Nick.

Ewelme Coachworks are near Wycombe, still a fair drag for you.

But I drive there from Brum for the quality.

Off topic but where abouts in E/A? I've been living in Wroxham Hotel for the last 3 months and have 1 more to go while I'm working up here. Only seen 1 Chim, one Red Griff and a Cerb since I've been up here... Was the Cerb you??

Sunny Lowestoft. The most Easterly point of the UK. I have taken the car to Wroxham, which is about 25 miles away, but not for a while. There is my car, a yellow Cerb, a white Wedge, a gold Chim and a blue T350 all in and around Lowestoft.
