British to American dictionary?

I wish PH had a section to translate some of the British expressions to the jargon we use here in the States.
I've figured out what a "lump" is...and I even understand a "fag lighter" tho I'd never repeat that in mixed company over here.
Of course, I could fly over there and spend several weeks in the pubs to get all this sorted out...Forget the dictionary, it was a bad idea........
