I'm just curious to know what % of TVRs have been given the opportunity to stretch their legs on track days.

Yep, but only two so far. Money and opportunity are the only limiting factors.

With all three TVRs I have bought, I have specifically avoided any car listed as "always garaged, no track days, never driven in the rain" as that's marketing speak for "I don't drive it and don't care either"....

They're built to be driven chaps! Get out there!

Interested to see where you are heading with this one scratchchin

I assume it is something to do with the 'spun big end bearing' thread you started on the Speed Six engine forum & that the warranty company are rejecting your claim on the basis that the car has been used on track days.

I take it your next question is going to be along the lines on how many cars have experienced engine problems/failures subsequently coffee

If I ever sell mine, I was going to put that on the advert together with "lady owner, pristine condition, all totally standard"wink

As for the truth, "nearly always garaged, about 50 track days, driven frequently in the rain and often on track in the rain, definately not a lady owner, not pristine due to track day use and, quite a long way from being standard" biggrin

I wonder how many of the Spitfires during the Battle of Britain ended up having bits held together with Duck tape like mine often iswink
