Help with paint code please???

I am after a bit of info please.
Le Mans Classic, a WONDERFUL weekend, great fun is so many ways, BUT...
Getting out early of the Campanile hotel Dieppe trying not to make too much noise at 6am Monday morning I clipped a rock "helpfully" put in the car-park edge. Minor glass-fibre job and some paint. My local body-shop can sort but has asked for the code. Its a 99 Griffith and beautiful Formula Red. But on his what's-what software there are a few.
Anyone know please? Does the chassis plate info carry paint code no?

Your paint code is the part of the Body Code on the same plate as your VIN code in the engine bay(passenger side bulkhead)...The first 4 chars I think P422- say or may be TVRxxx. Suprisingly my local Halfords had the formulae for a number of TVR colours. How good a match they are I wouldn't like to say.
