Are there going to be any Tivs anywhere at the show? I'm not expecting there to be a TVR stand in the main arena, but will there be any in any of the other areas?

I want to show my 8 year old what I'm saving up for, and therefore why she can't have a pony hehe ....

I'm sure that when I looked here this morning it listed TVR in the Heritage enclosure. However, tonight it's not there.

Sorry to potentially dissapoint anyone due to go, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the Motor Show. I have not been for many years (at NEC) but I was quite suprised how small it was. A number of big names were not there (VW Audi BMW), but make sure you look at the Alfa stand. Lovely cars and even more lovely ladies...

I headed over there after work last night, and had seen what I wanted in a couple of hours. Only went because I had a free ticket!

Same here, went today for four hours as I work a half a mile away. Spent most of the time watching the Heritage Collection run and chatting to Giles Cooper on the Lotus stand. Other than that, not very exiting.

Good to see the Farboud/Farbio ready at last and the Ronart/Lightning electric car seemed interesting but with a range of 180 miles, what happens when you run out of battery charge mid-journey?

Speed 12 is tucked away on the Evo stand and is not very well presented, in my opinion. 'Nice' pimped R-Class Merc on the Alpine stand, last time I saw it, I was at a show in Las Vegas, which, incidently, took me three days to go round!

Does anyone pay for Motorshow tickets these days, when you can get them for free off the internet?

Still waiting for the announcement on the national news about the re-birth of TVR...an important event given the dearth of British car manufacturers, one would have thought. Maybe I missed it ? scratchchin

It is very odd. I'd thought they timed the announcement to make a splash at the motor show. Obviously I was wrong. They'll be conspicuous by their absense imho

So in my 90 mile round trip on Friday to the motor show, I didn't see ONE... not one TVR apart from a red Chimaera on the M25. Where was everyone?! I parked in the purple section.

I also saw one Pistonhead's flag on a flagpole outside near the the 4X4 trial section, but where were all the PHers? I'm dissapointed there was no mention of TVR anywhere. frown

I was there yesterday and couldn't find a TVR anywhere, even in the Heritage section where it said in the guide there would be one! Still there was an F40 which made an awesome noise when they took it round their track.
