Baffles shot? Get 'em ripped out and stick it all back together, possibly having added a pinch of scaffold to taste. Ask apache - if he reads this, I'm sure he'll pipe up.

Cheap, and amazingly, still legal noise-wise.

Looks like I'll go down that route, and just scrap 'em altogether.

Anyone got any suggestions as to who could do this for me? Tomorrow I'm booking the S into Peninsula for a service, but I would assume they would not do this for me.

I am having a SS exhaust fitted by Peninsula on 6th Feb, so they will be removing the existing exhaust. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it - would you be interested?

I'd love to take you up on your offer, so yes please, 'pencil' me in for it.

But .... I don't think the car will last until then - it started stalling this morning on the way into work, and appears to be running quite rough - it's difficult to tell due to the rattle from the exhaust. I'll have to get a local [non-tvr] mechanic to look at it today, so I have no confidence to drive home in it !
