Did TVR ever make a diesel, I ask this because a Friend of mine got pulled up today in her Tamora for a red diesel check, yes that's right, for a diesel check, when she pulled up the guy did say "I don't think these run on diesel do they" now I know the Speed Six can make a rattly noise (She has got a sports exhaust on the Tam) but flippin eck, a diesel, I ask you.

I got pulled a few weeks ago when I was in the van. The customs guy couldn't get his hose into the tank because of the anti syphoning thingy and therefore couldn't check it. He just let me on my way. So, if you want to run on Red then buy a Renault Trafic

I got stopped recently in the Tuscan and the cheeky copper asked me "Is your car reliable?"

Now you got me thinking.... perhaps the plod was really implying that he thought it was powered by diesel?? Apparently mine showed up on the computer simply as a "multi coloured sports car", so perhaps we should all have a laugh and every time we get stopped perpetuate the myth? Tell them we average 50mpg at a steady 185mph and ask if they get similar figures from the Astras
