Given the publicity Offord has had on this site I thought it only fair to share my experience - picked up my Griff this afternoon.

• One outrigger corner had a small rust hole - outrigger removed and one corner repaired, painted and wax oiled.

• MOT done (no faults).

• 6k service done.

• Derek (Abshocks)refreshed the suspension settings and wheel alignment.

Had a courtesy car for the full duration and got my car back sqeaky clean inside out.

All this for £760 all in - for once I did not want to vomit after seeing a service bill.

To be fair to Offord, i think the only "bad press" was over the Cherry bomb conversion thing. And that was a Chinese whisper effect which changed the mod from being know as a "sports exhaust mod" to a "cherry bomb conversion"...IIRC

To be fair to Offord as well it does sound like Simon has taken on board the criticism, though it was not only the cherry bomb incident, (and has the guts to actually post and defend himself) and kicked his team up the backside.
I used to use them (they are 5 miles from home) but now travel an 80 mile round trip to Sebring instead as I totally lost confidence with them for a number of reasons. As said good on them as it sounds like they've learnt and moved on but for me once bitten and all that....

I've posted in the past about the honest service and support I recieved when purchasing my last TVR from them service and value above and beyond the call of duty.

They would get my reccomendation for sales and after sales support.
