I'm mulling over a few options for my next car, and am wondering what your opinions are of the Chimera / Griffith as daily drivers.
And also, if you could pass comment on these two, I'd be happy as ants.

Well I've used my Griff as a daily driver and had absolutely no problems what so ever. It even lives on the drive uncovered.

Nice one, the one thing I had in mind was the fact I don't have a garage, just a drive.

I used my old Chimaera 400 as a daily driver & it lived on the drive. Was fine. But expensive on fuel & servicing as I was doing a lot of miles. The torquey V8 made for an easy drive but the clutch was a heavy bd in traffic. Wouldn't want to use Cerb for daily drive as its even more expensive & a bit too mental & hectic for the everyday commute, but plenty of people do.

My Chim was used as my only car for a year, lives outside and when I remember, I do put a cover over it.

Very comfortable to drive around, so don't let that put you off unduly either.

I think a good car cover is nearly as good as being in the usual damp, draughty lock-up garage. Probably better if it's run regularly.

Planning to use my S semi-daily once I've got a shower cap to go over the hood when it's parked. Only annoyance I can see is the 'mansize' clutch effort in traffic.

Used my Chimaera as my dailey for about three years and parked on the drive. Very reliable and enjoyable to drive.
Great for long drives to. I drive back and to, to Germany a couple of times a year.
Before that I used my Wedge and now doing the same thing in my Tuscan.

I did 150,000 miles over six years in Griffs as my daily driver - no real problems at all

My Chim 400 has been my daily drive for the last 4 years and was a frequent drive for the year before that. I've had a few bits go wrong or fail - hole in rad, damper broke, immobiliser replaced - but nothing that's kept me off the road for more than a day.

I'll expecting to drive it for many more years.
