Mostly burn compilations CD's of all sorts of music.

Wagners Ride Of The Valkyries and Motorheads Ace Of Spades both seem particularly fitting though.

Meanwhile, back in the 21st century....

Jamiroquai - Cosmic Girl (JK's Dub remix)
PropellerHeads - On Her Majestys Secret Service
Fun Lovin' Criminals - Big Night Out
Bran Van 3000 - Drinking in LA / Outstanding
Prodigy - Diesel (Arkane remix) / No Good to Me

I could go on, but judging by the previous "trapped in the eighties" responses, I suspect my suggestions may fall on deaf (sic) ears....

LIMPBizkit: Rollin'

That was the first song when I picked up my beastie from the factory last march. I love that song, especially the remix from "The Fast and the Furious soundtrack".

Christof on the way to the MD player...

Sorry funky, this is the bloody worst record ever ... too many memories of drunk on cider at parties at our local Sea Scout Hut circa late 70s ealy 80s.

Whenever I here it, I have just have to get the hell out. Even left the barbers the other day when I was next in line and it came on. I cannot sit there and listen to that bl**dy sax solo again.

Cindy Lauper is great.
"Ride on Time" (Blackbox?) for hunting.
But the best:
"Breakthrough" (Queen) for scaring passengers,
I call it my V8 song:
At the beginning of the song calm down car and volume,
let Freddie sing his start, then a gap, and now:
switch on fully volume while putting in lower gear
and exactly with the start of the sound full throttle!

Warning: not for city traffic, because if you can manage to look at the speedo you are already far above legal limit!
Don´t forget to slow for the next corner, unfortunately comes usually before the song is over.

But try it you will get addicted.

Don't forget Chris Rea's 'Road to Hell' when you're stuck in a jam on the M25.

I'd recommend "Twin Barrels Burning" just for the title...

...if it wasn't possibly the worst album WA ever produced!

Since I want to get the roof in the boot, the CD changer had to go!! Apart from singing on long journeys - any suggestions for an alternative? (Radio reception is worse than crap, too)

My car has no silencers whatsoever, and I generally (apart from when stuck in traffic) regret ever having spent money on a CD player. Normally just listen to the V8 howl.

With a bit of luck, it should sound even better when I get my ACT Carbon Fibre inlet plenum fitted! - Perhaps a little extra induction howl thrown into the mix.
