Anyone that was at the Surrey meet this evening will know what this is about...

www.avaddict.tv/Pages/Files.htm

Sorry guys ... it's 15Mb and very short but it's the first bit of Adobe Premiere encoding that I've done so I'm crap at the settings at the moment.

Edited to say : I'll try to work out the beast that is the encoder settings on Premiere a bit better tonight and try to compress it down more - if I can I'll put that up instead.

I always blame that sort of behaviour on my right leg cramping thus forcing my foot to mash the loud pedal.

Crap, the nose swung round a tad.

Rule 1: If you crash, make sure a friend or someone you will see in a regular basis is not with you. They'll never let you forget it. Ever!

Mmm, been there and nearly bought the farm as a result.... Still, glad to see that its not just me that has these "moments"! Mind you a nice new set of rear tyres might help in my case....!

It's been a damn pleasure meeting you guys in person too and (for a few minutes at least) managing to put faces to names!

A more pleasant bunch of psychotic lunatics and noisily anti-social misfits would be difficult to find!

Hi Bassfiend
Try Ulead Pro-6 video edit program, but Adobe premier should be fine too if you have DivX codec
installed
codec can be found here:

www.divx.com

Uncompressed .Avi formats are very large mate... DivX will compress it in good quality in avi
format ;-)
For 15 sec. vid the size will be small and good for the net, depending the quality (kbps).
Good luck with it, i'm waiting ur reply when you finished :-)
Tried to send you an e-mail but i recieved a reply which sais that you can't recieved it... DNS Server error...

LOL - Well it is my *FIRST* ever bit of digital video.

Also couldn't spend too much time playing with it last night - got home at 11:30ish from the Surrey meet and wifey was sitting up waiting for me as she hadn't seen much of me the night before (Berkshire meet) so I just lashed something up quick.

If I can get the codecs sorted out and the filesize down I'll do the whole of that clip ... I don't think either the Rev or I abused anyone whilst we were out on our quick spin.

Wasn't me driving (wifeys already decided that when a Tiv is purchased we're *BOTH* going on a RideDrive session) ... I was busy enough trying not to whap the vicar in the head with the camcorder!

In slight mitigation when pulling out of that car park exit and heading that way the road is at completely the wrong camber...

Phil,

Nice to see it's now a WHEN rather than an IF. Good luck hunting out there.
