Saturday afternoon, driving through Leeds, heading towards the tunnel near the train station / Queens Hotel. Pull round corner - empty tunnel, in first, give it large big noise, everyone looks round, then back off and listen to the exhaust

Think I be heading over there more often

It'd be rude not to!

Tell you what, if any of you have a spare £1 give it to the kind lady at the toll gate south of the Dartford tunnel

I did the same thing last week through the tunnel under Leeds station - drowned out all noise from the trains. Stay in 2nd for the rest of the Leeds loop - noise reverberates off all the office blocks - mind you, doesn't do much for yer mpg....

Best noise i ever heard was coming back from Brands Hatch and got caught in the middle of a TVR convey through the Dartford Tunnel. Was in my Fiesta at the time.

Griff 500 in front of me, Cerb to its right, with a Chim and one of the Wedges behind me. Wound both windows down! It was amazing. The cerb was shaking the tunnel!!!!

My journey home takes me through the tunnels on the inner ring road every evening. It never gets boring.

Tunnels and TVR's made for each other..Shame there isn't a road for cars alongside the chunnel really. Now that would be fun!

That's why they're so close alphabetically then?

Regularly park in Park Square and always enjoy driving through that railway tunnel when I'm in the Tiv.

Too much noise in Dartford Tunnel from the fans. Try the Blackwall tunnel, or the HydeParkCorner underpass
