I must be even sadder than you,mixed with castor oil (60/40) it will both clean and renovate rubber trim ,and sieved through a loaf of bread the dye that puts you off drinking it is removed!Tempus smile

Thought the old pass it through a filter of bread was the dipso's trick with 'Brasso' hehe

It's not the dye you need to remove before, it's the approx 10% methanol. The dye is just there to warn you.
