Can anyone help me I'm trying to get a wiring diagram for the diagnostics software connector for the Tamora ECU.

As per the title it's a 16 pin to serial port connector NOT the type used on the Tuscan frown

Anyone got one / made one or got the wiring diagram?

Thanks

Conor

Is this 16 way connector the standard OBD type?

If a simple adaptor is all that is required, I have the means to make them...

Let me know if you need one.

I've ordered some ODB connectors and some serial port connectors from the USA. When they arrive I'm going to have a try at making one.

Once I've worked it out I'll post a diagram or if someone can make them up for us great.

I'll keep you posted smile

OK Gents, here's another question that I'm sure has been asked before. I ordered a diagnostic lead from a TVR parts supplier. This has a three pin plug at one end and a Nine pin male connector at the other, this did not fit in to my laptop. I then ordered a 9 pin female/USB connecter to allow fitment in to the laptop......success! Now the problem is, when I start the speed six ECU programme it say's that the connector lead is not connected, although the USB connector does light up. My lap top is running MS Vista, is this the problem? Can anyone give me an idea of how to fix this and get the damed thing running? I'm sure someone has had this problem but I'm unable to find anything through searching.

Thanks

If you are running Vista that might be the problem. On XP there used to be a feature for running in Windows 95 mode. I'd guess that it's the same in Vista smile

Yep, try running it in Windows 95 / 98 compatibility mode (right click on the application icon, the option is in there). I used to help Silverstone Performance out a little bit with their IT and getting this to run on XP was always a problem.

If you are running vista and or if you cant get something to run in win98 mode on XP. You could try and use VMware Server (the free version) to run a virtual machine. Into the virtual machine you could install Win98 and run the software from there.
