flaking wheel arches..
Discussion
Hi Nick
I had the same problem, I have read that some dealers have covered this under warranty although mine did give me the old "they all do that" but to be fair my dealer did end up painting on a sealant for me (which I provided) FOC. Bit of a messy job plus you need to take the wheels off.

I have just discovered the same with my T350c!! it is happening on both rear wheel arches.
Having been in the fibreglass game since 1968, i have seen this problem a lot, the problem stems from when the body of the car is 'trimmed' of all the rough edges,if the car is fresh out of the mold, it is full of static electricity.
so during the trimming the dust is attracted to the car,the dust should first be 'blown' off and then wiped over with CLEAN Acetone to enable any further fibreglassing to take place, or for any paint to stick.
I shall be asking for this to be rectified on my next visit to the dealer.(sorry if i have bored the pants off you all!! but if there is one thing i know about, it is fibreglassing)

Warranty or not Warranty?
Hi glenn, no they don't know about it yet! because it is going in for about a week for a rear end re-spray due to the petrol filler cap coming off and taking paint with it, so i will tell them then, plus one or two other nig's to sort out.
