Right hopefully I've posted this in the right place....

How much!... thats £88 for the three of us, so thats £29 each to explore the deep Caves of Clearwell in the Forest of Dean.

Then I got thinking, mmm, we already have 1 Griff and a Chrimaera going, why not invite a few others and make it a TVR day out at the mines.

DON'T BE SCARED OFF, I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT MANY SCHOOL KIDS DO THIS ADVENTURE EVERY YEAR. SO IT'S NOT FULL ON HARD CORE POTHOLING!

Here's how it works... 4 people = £22 each... and so on... well down to £11 each.

So anyone interested in an informal meet for a 3 hours of cave exploring?

Dates:

Either 28th August, 30th August or 31st August?

more info www.clearwellcaves.com....

This is not an advert, we just want to make something we have been dying to do all year a little more cost effective and meet up with a few TVR nuts at the same time

Most TVR owners can achieve a similar experience by grovelling in the footwell to sort out some problem. It's wet, cramped, dark and you can easily get stuck....

Steady Steve - not every TVR owner has the same sense of having a good time as you

I don't run a TV, myself. Wouldn't even know how much a licence would be today. I think it was 7/6 last time ....

.... or was that the dog licence?

Sorry - going distinctively off topic here! Now we've brought it back to the top of the list would somebody like to answer the original please?

Edited to add that if a TVR gathering ensues I might be in that part of the world on one of those dates - won't be up for the claustrophobia bit, though!

Hi Ron, well if you are not up for the mining bit and others are, there are nice walks around the area whilst we clamber off down a hole!

But maybe you just want to burn around the countryside

Well thats two for the hole (Me and Steve Maton) and one for something else if a few more can make it? Anyone else interested?

Come one, you can always go for a walk if you don't like the idea of the mine
