At the Griff Growl last year, there was a charity auction for a car to be detailed which we luckily won from http://www.thepolishingcompany.com/

After changing the Griff for a Tuscan, and waiting for the horrible winter to be out of the way, we finally got around to organising Mike to come to work his magic.

You can judge for yourself the results, personally I found it to be an amazing transformation, you think the car looks good, until Mike who spent the whole day until 6pm, working amazingly hard, getting all the swirl marks and all the fine scratches out. The paintwork looks like a mirror finish now.

A big thanks to Mike who donated this prize at the Growl for charity, it was a full hard days work for him. clap

That looks superb, I bet you are chuffed to bits! Did the guy who detailed it tell you how to wash it to keep it swirl free? If not I will post up a good wash technique.

I did mine myself, it has come out very good but it shows what a difference a pro can make.

Yes I have been informed and been supplied with products to keep the car in this condition, it's made very easy with the products that Mike supplies, but please post up your washing techniques as info is never a waste.

Thanks all for the lovely comments, we are chuffed to bits with the car. biggrin

I think price is around £300 for a full detail, which imo is money well spent, and a good investment in your P&J. thumbup

WOW! That looks fantastic thumbup

I've just spent the last couple of days washing/preparing/waxing my paintwork and simple elbow grease just doesn't come close to what you have there, nice one. This is something I'd love to get done but will have to wait until after I fork out for a front-end respray..
