Someone (not identified) when removing the dash top cover left a bolt protruding! Which slightly scuffed the vinyl. It is only minor but directly in the driver's line of sight prominent on the panel (the one with the many air vents) just below the Chimaera's windscreen.

My question is, has anyone here repaired vinyl successfully, so it is an invisible repair to the naked eye and if so, was it by using a Vinyl Repair Kit (as below link), a mobile service or professional trim workshop.

Any recommendation in removing an eyesore from a near mint interior would be really valued, thank you.

I would suggest trying this first on a test piece. It's not as easy as it's made out to be to get a good colour match. HTH

I have one of those Liquid Leather Scuffmaster kits which I'd bought to touch-up one or two areas of the seats. My roof panel interior is vinyl'd in the same colour. That too has succumbed to some clumsiness leaving possibly something like you describe, but probably deeper. I have managed partial success by building up the repair with successive touch-ups over a period of time. The kit comes with a toner and an additive to give the correct sheen (matt thru gloss).
