This coming season what colours are going to be popular?

Ferrari Colour schemes seem to be around currently at the factory, but are there any particular colours that are likely to make either a comeback or become a firm favorite of 2002?

What's going to be cool on TVR's this season?

Seriously, I think as you say the Ferrari alloy colours, silver, and Viper GTS blue. Most people won't pay £2000 for bloody flippy floppy stuff anymore.

I read an article yesterday saying that Dupont were developing no-scratch coatings for paintwork. Also it seems that flip-flop colours are becoming more popular on mainstream cars.

Yes nubbs, My point is that I am not going to pay £1800 for flip flop purple when the chinese woman up the road has it on her Nissan Micra

Couldn't agree more, which is one of the reasons I changed to a Ferrari colour for the Tamora - a bit of class, less flash. If we TVR dudes want to be noticed, a few revs usually does the trick!

However, I have to say that the Tuscan is one car that needs an outrageous paint job, because it's just such an outrageous car!!

The article I read also had the results of a world-wide survey on the most popular car colours - silver is the one, and blues, reds, and greens are out, also "older" colours - yellow for instance, were making a big comeback.

Take the following link and take in some gorgeous colours -
www.o-boyle.com/colour/
My two favourites are:
Marsala Burgundy under the red section and
Lamborghini Arancio California Pearl - under the orange secion - that is a seriously loud colour!!

Enjoy

i'd have to day that the crystal topaz and cascade blue both look breathtaking to an observer on the pavement as a blurred object roars past or in someone's rear mirror as they see a 4.5 looming! {:O)

I thought it was combinations we were on about. It's alright having a delicious colour exterior, but who would then have pink as an interior colour.

I'm led to believe by threads on here that you can spec most things colourwise for the interior on a TVR (correct me if I'm wrong). This undoubted pleasure has unfortunately escaped lil ol me so far. So what colour interiors are favourite? Every bl**dy secondhand one sees to be 'magnolia leather' which personally doesn't thrill me although I wouldn't complain!

My personal favourite would be a starmist blue with an oxblood leather interior (but I've never seen one). And that goes for any model (except the Tuscan where I'd probably have a lighter blue.

TVR owner in 2002!!
