Not sure if the chap whos Tuscan caught fire at Oulton is a regular here but, if so, hope you and your missus managed to to get a spare extinguisher and get home safely. Nasty experience!

It seems that (during a track session) enough heat was transmittted from the exhaust pipes to the boot to cause the carpet(?) inside to catch fire. If someone at the track hadn't had an extinguisher handy the car could have been totalled. Apparently, this is not the first time that this has happened to a Tuscan. However, several other Tuscans were blasting round seemingly problem free. Anyone have any more thoughts on this? Possible design fault?
