Just a quick thread to see if anyone has used Shiny Nuts and what you think of them.

Have a set on my Chim and am entirely satisfied with them. Quality product.
Are they still available? Saw something on here in the last few weeks perhaps indicating not, which would be a shame if so.

They are v.good quality had them on my Chim and now on my Tuscan (different no., threads and size), but there was a PH thread a few weeks ago that stated Jeremy Smith no longer gets them made/selling them...not seen any adverts for a while...may still be some in dealers but I'd snap them up now if you want them.

Taking the chance to get ridiculed here, but what are 'Shiny Nuts' and where do they go on a TVR?

What do people do if they have anthracite wheels? My nuts (!!) are starting to rust as the coating is chipped off.

Hope I'm not breaking the rules by doing this but I'd like to put the record straight. I do have about 10 sets of M12 1.5 nuts left in stock that fit Griffs, Chims and the later wedges. I have no stock for the later TVRs (Cerbera onwards).

Unfortunately, because the price of stainless steel, 316 grade in particular, has rocketed over the past two years it is no longer viable for me to supply them. We'll take the website down shortly.

Shinynuts has been a lot of fun and thanks to all of you who have have enjoyed wearing them!! Thanks also to this great site for helping to promote them!
