Just a thought really...
I know that TVRs don't come with ABS or airbags, but is it possible to get these fitted?
I would love to get a Tuscan, but the missus is telling me that she will not be happy driving it as it doesn't come with many driving aids, such as the above.
So whats the possiblity of adding ABS and Airbags and traction contact to a tuscan?

www.ridedrive.co.uk would be a more worthwhile investment...

I imagine ABS and Traction Control are 'do-able' at a cost, someone like RaceLogic might be able to help, but I would think airbags are a none starter

Can't rid of the missus as she has put this dam golden rign around my finger. And she now claims that my a$$ is hers.
911 is still on the cards. Would like to get one as a run around until i have the Tuscan, then i would probably pass this on to her so she can leave the Tuscan alone, but i know that she will want to drive it some time or another.

I seem to remember reading something last year about a company offering (or planning to offer) aftermarket airbags for cars not fitted with them from new. It involves changing the steering wheel though and it would probably look a bit silly.
Would have thought ABS/traction control was do-able by someone like Race Logic

Looks like Raceboy beat me to the Race Logic idea!

Traction Control - Race logic. Budget 2-3000 pounds.
ABS - non starter as this would require a complete new brake system and while it could be done would be very very expensive.
Air bags. Probbaly another non starter because of the seating position. Air bag goes off and kills you because you are too close.

Servicing in SA. Call TVR and ask them. You will need factory support to look after the car.

Disconnect the brakes, give her the car and tell her you've fitted the ABS etc.. Then send her down a BIG hill!

You can a buy a new car with the life insurance.....maybe TWO!

You might want to speak with Mark Adams as he knows a man who's taken a Griff 500 and added traction control, ABS & 4-wheel drive...

Might be an idea to think about some 4 point harness, to keep you well away from the steering wheel?

Never needed an airbag in 19 years of driving (getting a bit tired now, arf arf!). I prefer to look where I'm going rather than rely on gadgets to survive. Besides, you can get your nose fixed for less than the cost of an airbag...

I fear your wife has the latest paranoia called 'afraid to go out because of what it says on the telly'. Can't help you with the cure though.
